Download from the official website
- Open the official Xtreme HD Player download page.
- Choose Windows installer or Windows portable.
- Do not download copies from forums, chat attachments or software mirrors.
- Keep Windows Security enabled and scan the downloaded file.
- Confirm the player version shown on the download page.
Understand the Windows warning
The current Windows build is not signed with a paid code-signing certificate, so Windows can report an unknown publisher or display a SmartScreen warning. That warning identifies the missing publisher signature; it does not by itself prove the official file is malicious. Continue only when the file came directly from the official Xtreme HD download page.
- For the installer, choose More info and Run anyway only after verifying the official source.
- The portable build may still be checked or warned about by Windows Security even though it does not use an installer.
- Never disable antivirus protection globally to run the player.
Connect the Windows player
- Open Xtreme HD Player and copy the displayed MAC address and device key.
- Open the secure player portal in a browser.
- Add the authorised playlist to that exact device.
- Return to the player and choose Retrieve playlist.
- Allow the initial live TV, movie and series import to complete.
Playback, subtitles and audio
- Use Pause, Resume, Stop, seek and volume controls in the player.
- Choose Subtitles or Audio when the stream contains selectable tracks.
- Use full screen for playback and Back to return to the library.
- Continue Watching saves unfinished on-demand titles.
- Keep graphics and audio drivers current when decoding fails across several streams.
Fix common Windows problems
Keep favourites and progress after a URL update
When an authorised provider changes the playlist URL, edit the existing portal connection for the verified device. Xtreme HD Player is designed to match content against a stable library identity, so favourites, history and playback progress are not tied only to the old URL.
Frequently asked questions
Which Windows download should I choose?
Choose the installer for a normal desktop setup. Choose portable if you prefer to run the player from a folder without a standard installation.
Why does Windows say Unknown publisher?
The current public build is not yet signed with a paid Windows code-signing certificate. Use only the official Xtreme HD download page and keep Windows Security enabled.
Can a URL change keep my viewing progress?
Yes, the player is designed to keep matching favourites, history and progress attached to the stable verified library when the authorised connection URL is updated.
