Check the television platform

This guide is for devices whose settings identify the operating system as Android TV or Google TV. Samsung Tizen and LG webOS televisions need their own app-store guide. Amazon Fire TV uses the same remote-focused player family but a separate Fire TV installation path.

Choose 64-bit or 32-bit

Use the 64-bit TV package when the device supports 64-bit applications. Some older or budget Android TV devices run a 32-bit user space even when the processor name sounds 64-bit; those devices need the 32-bit build. If one package reports that it is incompatible, remove it and install the other official TV build.

Install the official TV package

  • Open the official download page directly or use its current Downloader code.
  • Choose Android TV 64-bit or Android TV 32-bit, not Android mobile.
  • Allow installation for Downloader or the chosen file manager when Android requests it.
  • Install Xtreme HD Player, then remove the temporary unknown-app permission.
  • Open the player from Apps and move it to the favourites row if desired.

Connect without typing credentials on the TV

  • Open Xtreme HD Player and note the MAC address and device key.
  • Scan or open the portal on a phone or computer.
  • Enter the device details and authorised playlist there.
  • On the television select Retrieve playlist.
  • Keep the television awake while the first library import completes.

Use the remote comfortably

  • Directional buttons move focus; OK selects; Back closes a panel or returns to the previous screen.
  • Player controls hide after inactivity and return when a remote button is pressed.
  • Use Continue Watching for unfinished movies and episodes.
  • Open Subtitles or Audio only when the stream supplies selectable tracks.
  • Use the accessibility text-size setting for customers who need larger labels.

Troubleshoot TV playback

Is Android TV the same as a Samsung or LG Smart TV?

No. Android TV and Google TV run Android applications. Most Samsung TVs use Tizen and most LG TVs use webOS.

Can I use the phone APK on Android TV?

Do not use it. Install the TV build so remote navigation, focus and full-screen controls work correctly.

Will a provider URL update remove Continue Watching?
