Identify the box type

  • Certified Android TV or Google TV box: use the TV build.
  • Amazon Fire TV device: follow the Fire TV guide.
  • Generic tablet-style Android box with pointer controls: the mobile build may be more suitable.
  • Very old hardware: check available storage and Android version before installing.

Choose the correct architecture

The processor specification alone is not enough because some boxes ship a 32-bit Android operating system on 64-bit hardware. Check the system information screen or a reputable device-information tool. If the 64-bit installer is rejected, use the current official 32-bit TV build.

Install and connect Xtreme HD Player

  • Download the official APK using the browser, Downloader or a trusted USB transfer.
  • Temporarily allow that installer source and install the package.
  • Open the player and record its MAC address and device key.
  • Add the authorised playlist in the secure portal from a phone or computer.
  • Select Retrieve playlist on the box and wait for the first sync.

Optimise a low-end Android box

  • Keep at least 1 GB of storage free.
  • Close unused background applications before high-bitrate playback.
  • Use Ethernet where available or stable 5 GHz Wi-Fi.
  • Keep animations and background launchers lightweight.
  • Load categories progressively rather than opening several large libraries at once.

  • Confirm every menu item receives visible focus before giving the box to a customer.
  • Test Back, OK, directional keys, subtitles, audio selection and full-screen control hiding.
  • Test both a live channel and an on-demand title.
  • If one codec fails, compare another title before changing global decoder settings.

Keep the library after a connection change
